Turner syndrome, which manifests itself only in women, is a condition that manifests itself with short stature and lack of sexual development. This disease does not affect men. Although the cause is not known exactly, it is thought to be caused by the habits that harm the baby, such as the mother or father's alcohol and smoking. There are a total of 46 chromosomes in our body that we receive from mother and father. Among these are the X and Y chromosomes that we get from the mother and father. These chromosomes are the chromosomes that determine the sex. Girls have two X chromosomes, boys have X and Y chromosomes. This disease is caused by the failure of one of the 2 X chromosomes in girls, and when one of the 46 chromosomes is defective, 45 chromosomes remain.
